Celebrate the Launch of Shorn July 19, 2008!

 

Thank you all for your patience as we dealt with a few minor delays. Yes - the pre-release edition of my novel, Shorn, is now available! Shorn is set in a world in which magic creates more problems than it solves, and those with the skills to avert disaster are either lost within their own conflicts or shut out by the political leaders who fear them. The tale focuses on Jhared, a young soldier who has been taught that his kind are to blame for past evil, and Nemiah, a woman whose own trials are a result of that evil. We’ll be celebrating the novel’s release into the wilds at Wordsmiths Books in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, July 19 at 7:30pm. I’ll be doing a reading and signing books. Ari Warner, my map artist, will be signing with me, and will also have an exhibit of some of his own amazing artwork. There will be food—including champagne and chocolate, I’m told. The crew from Mercury Retrograde Press will be there, and of course, the fabulous folks from Wordsmiths.
